Hoka Challenger ATR 7 | Black / Black | Mens
Street-approved. Trail tested. Built at the intersection of road and trail, the Hoka Challenger 7 has been completely reimagined from the ground up.
Combining a simplified mesh upper with a soft new foam, Hoka have increased the stack height for a plusher feel and added proprietary rubber to the bottom unit, along with a reimagined outsole design for the best all-terrain ride yet. Inspired by gravel tires, they've cued up smaller, tightly spaced lugs in the center and larger, more aggressive lugs at the perimeter designed for improved traction on uneven terrain.
- Extended heel pull
- Engineered mesh
- Compression molded EVA foam midsole
- Durabrasion rubber
- 4mm lugs
- Recycled poly laces

The left shoe had a squeak which would never stop. After hiking in Japan for 5 days it was sending me crazy. I somehow managed to find a size 13 replacement in Japan and threw these in the bin. Toes are also a lot more cramped together than previous models. I’ve seen a few other comments about this before I brought them but assumed it was only minor. However I found them very uncomfortable compared to my previous Tectron 1’s I had previously. Poorly made and I wouldn’t recommend them.
